Here is a ray of sunshine to brighten your day during this rainy weather, our next coach trip after Cardiff, is to Exbury Gardens, set in 200 acres of woodland on the edge of the Beaulieu river in the New Forest.

EXBURY GARDENS AND STEAM RAILWAY

Exbury Gardens is a spectacular 200 acre woodland garden on the edge of Beaulieu River in the New Forest. This garden is renowned for spring colour with world famous collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias, rare trees, acers and shrubs line the extensive paths and circular walks through the beautiful planting. Wander along the river bank, sometimes seals sunning on the banks, and find the giant koi in the top pond!
There is a narrow gauge railway which travels for one and half miles through a tunnel and round an area in the north of garden only accessible by train. This is optional extra and can be purchased in advance for £5.50 (instead of £7 on the day)
There are 3 food outlets – Mr Eddy’s Restaurant serving hot meals as well as cold snacks; Old Tennis Courts serving sandwiches and cakes etc and various pop up caterers. You can also take a picnic.
The coach will have a toilet but we will call at Sutton Scotney Services, near Winchester on the way for a toilet break
PRICE: £35.00 to include coach and garden entrance. £5.50 optional extra for steam train.
DEPART: Lechlade at 8.30am opposite New Jubilee Antiques Hall (near New Memorial car park)
Planned arrival back in Lechlade approx. 6.30 pm
