Local visit to Pudding Hill Barn
This year we have arranged to visit the above garden on Wednesday 9th July at 6.30 pm
Established in 2022 by the current owners Karen Gray and Marcus Child the gardens have been carefully designed to make the most of the natural form and landscape on the edge of a deep valley. Make sure that you wander past the chickens and ducks through the woods to the old Trout House to see the spectacular views across the valley and the deep valley with the river Coln below.
Price £8.00 to include tea, coffee, soft drink or glass of wine and nibbles. Extra glass of wine will be £5.00. Introductory talk by Karen upon arrival. Cash or card upon arrival please.
DIRECTIONS. Car Sharing if possible. Meet in New Memorial Hall car park at 6.00pm
Please note Sat Nav are not reliable. If you can use What 3 Words – zebra.sheds.vipers
Follow the main road B4425 through Bibury up the hill past the Quarry Bungalows on the left – it appears as if you are leaving the village. About 100 yards further the speed signs change from 30mph to 40mph. Almost immediately before 40mph sign and before a lamp post THEN TURN RIGHT onto a single gravel track with a metal barred gate and field beyond. Drive around the field til the end and park in field.
Drive slowly or you will miss the right turn and the entrance to the field!
Note if you reach Arlington Fields Housing Estate or where there are only houses on the left you have gone too far!
Friends and family welcome and look forward to seeing you all
