A Talk by Roger Umpelby

The August meeting on Wednesday 13 August is all about British Butterflies.
There is so much concern about these lovely insects and their declining numbers that hopefully lots of you will come to find out more
about them and what we can do to help.
Roger is a professional entomologist and horticulturalist with many years of consulting and research with government and industry.
He has previously visited us and given excellent talks on ‘Bugs’ and ‘Vegetables’
The talk lasts for approximately 45 minutes and there is often a chance to ask questions throughout. There is an opportunity for socialising with other members, raffle and refreshments.
