We are heading to Shropshire to visit the David Austin Rose Centre to see over 4000 roses planted in six themed rose gardens. Reputed to be one of the finest rose gardens in the world – we can spend the afternoon wandering through the fragrant pathways appreciating all the wonderful colours of the spectacular roses.
There is an extensive plant nursery selling over 400 different potted roses as well as companion shrubs, trees and herbaceous plants. Rose experts are on hand to help! We have been offered a 10% discount on all purchases from the plant nursery and gift shop by using a sticker given to us all on arrival. Any plant purchases will be stored under purchaser’s name and taken directly to the coach before departure.
There is a licenced restaurant and garden café for light bites selling a selection of main meals, cakes and drinks etc.
For an extra £10.00 per person – you can book a guided tour of the gardens and a behind the scene look at cultivation and propagating.
We will be calling at Webbs of Wychbold Large Garden Centre to break for about an hour for look round and coffee on the way.
